Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at 126 Rua Barão de Camargos, and together, we'll jump into a jardineira to explore the city in a fun and unique way. Get ready for an authentic experience!

Our jardineira tour of Ouro Preto will start at Largo de Coimbra, where you'll find the São Francisco de Assis Church. We'll explore the interior of this significant temple to uncover its intricate details. Afterward, we'll return to the jardineira and pass through Praça Tiradentes, Rua São José, and Largo do Rosário, home to the Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Homens Pretos Church.

Continuing our journey, we'll make our way to the Ouro Preto train station, which has been in operation since 1888. From there, we'll explore the city's monumental complex, making stops at the Aleijadinho museum, the Basilica do Pilar, and the Church of Santa Efigênia. Throughout the tour, we'll discuss the municipality's historical significance during the colonial period, as exemplified by its rich religious architecture.

Our jardineira will wind its way through the maze-like streets of Ouro Preto, allowing us to appreciate the Bridge of Sighs and the Santa Rita Mine from this vintage vehicle that gained popularity between the 1930s and 1970s. It's a unique and nostalgic way to experience the city's rich history and charming streets.

After 4 hours of fun-filled adventure in our jardineira, we'll drop you off back at the starting point and bring the tour to a close.
